How to order
Once you've made your choice of caricature, please email me and please include the following information:

1) Description of caricature you require (hobbies/interests if large illustration required).
2) Your full name.
3) Postal address.
4) Telephone number(s).
5) Date you require caricature.
6) Numbers of people/pets to be featured.

7) Colours - Hair and eye colour will need to be supplied on all people featured. Also, If you require surrounding objects in specific colours, please email me these details, otherwise colours will be added at my discretion.

8) Strength of caricature - I also need to know if you'd like a 'tame' caricature (slight distortion) or 'full-blown' caricature (pronounced features - lots of distortion).

10) Photos. Please provide a minimum of 8 photographs, which you feel represent the individual accurately. They should be high quality, supplied in colour, taken in good lighting and from different angles. The subject should also be shown with different expressions, as this gives a much better idea of the individual’s characteristics and from this a better likeness is achieved. If there’s a particular pose required then this must be described by the customer and, where possible, backed up with photographic reference. A long time is spent studying photos, with every commission receiving maximum attention to detail. In the absence of an exact description of what is required in the final artwork, I will use artistic licence. Please email (preferable) or post your photos to me after I have confirmed your commission.

11) Proof Sketch (if required)
A rough pencil outline sketch will be emailed to you, for your approval, on all colour illustrations that are larger than 'head and shoulders' caricatures. If any changes are required they will then be made before the finished artwork is sent to you. Please note: This sketch won't include faces as it is hard to show a true likeness with a single pencil outline. Please use this sketch to see if you like the composition and content. Hopefully, from viewing the samples and their photos on this website you will agree that a likeness is achieved.

Pets
For an illustration featuring your pet, the price is usually the same as for featuring people. If you require a number of pets shown, please email me for a quote as a discount is usually available.

After you have emailed me the information required, I will get back to you within 48 hrs (weekdays). Please note that over weekends and bank holidays, my reply may take a little longer.

Payment Methods
I will also require payment before I begin your commission. This can be made in one of 3 ways:

1) By direct bank transfer: I will email you my bank details and then a receipt when I receive the transfer.
2) Through PayPal: I will email you a link to my PayPal payment area.
3) By cheque: Please make it payable to 'A.P. Marriott' after I confirm the commission.

Digital Caricatures are available in either A4 or A3 size. These illustrations are hand-drawn and then colour rendered on computer. Then, using top brand inks (never cheaper 'copied inks'), they are printed on high quality 'Archival Matte' paper. One print is included in the price of the commission. Please note that I currently only post caricatures within the UK only. Please note: Illustrations are posted as artwork only. An A4 framing service is available if customers are able to collect as I do not post frames due to possible breakages during delivery.
