Due to lack of group interest, I'm afraid that my workshop scheduled to take place on the 25th May in Quedgeley, has been cancelled.

Thanks to Jackson's for their help in trying to promote this with me.

Calling all budding caricature artists out there...

In May this year, I'll be running a fun-filled workshop in south Gloucester!

After an introduction about myself and a brief history, I'll discuss the tools of the trade followed with a demonstration of the process of creating a caricature with a volunteer from the group. Then, it'll be the student's time to have a go...

Specific areas that the workshop focuses on:

 - Picking out specific characteristics in a subject to use.

- How to exaggerate.

 - Creating an initial rough pencil sketch as a base.

- Use of brush-tip marker pen for producing outline.

 - Shading techniques (black & white/colour).

What you need to bring with you:

Just yourselves and a sense of humour

(no need to bring materials, included in the workshop).

Age:

16 yrs and above.

Recommendation:
